2Rite™ Corporation has been involved in a broad range of consulting and product development projects. Current work has been focused primarily in three areas:

RF/microwave and high-speed digital circuits and systems.

Precision analog signal acquisition and subsequent digital signal processing systems.

Battery operated equipment and power supplies.

Recent projects have included:

High-speed digital and analog/RF systems including:
1. Recording head interconnect design for magnetic recording disk drive applications (to 2 Gb/sec)
2. Telephone copper plant modeling for xDSL and proprietary high-speed communication links; analog front-end design (to 15 MHz)
3. Hardware interface and electrical interconnect design for 10 Gb/sec optical links

Precision sensors and instrumentation including:
1. Microwave current sensors and balun development
2. Remote sensing of current and voltage on power transmission lines (up to 35 kV) via RF link
3. DC-coupled RF AGC amplifier (300 MHz BW)
4. High speed (35psec risetime) pulse driver for TDR application

Battery operated equipment and portable instruments including:
1. Portable environmental monitor system for research application
2. High efficiency power supplies for compact florescent lights
3. Low-noise, wideband amplifier for an ultrasonic transducer

Signal integrity and EMI/EMC analysis in mixed analog/digital systems

Development experience includes both high volume products (for example, computer disk drive products shipping >20,000 units per day) to precision instrumentation used in world-renowned research and development laboratories.

2Rite Corporation engineers use a broad range of CAD tools to facilitate quality designs. CAD tools are used in the following applications:

Schematic capture
Circuit simulation
Electromagnetic analysis
System modeling
PCB and microwave IC layout

A number of tools have been used for each of the above applications, including products from Cadence®, Eagleware, Ansoft, Sonnet®, Autodesk®, and The MathWorks. The customer frequently dictates tool use; this permits easy collaboration and provides the most efficient transfer of finished designs.

2Rite Corporation also has a well-equipped laboratory available for prototype development and testing.
